JRD Packaging & Industrial Supply We would like to introduce you to JRD Packaging & Industrial Supply, a multi-faceted production operation, located in Central Pennsylvania. JRD provides its customers with quality products and service. As a corrugated manufacturer, we can supply all size corrugated cartons, stock boxes, custom boxes, die cuts, pads, sheets and partitions. Our customer base includes integrated box manufacturers, and we market tapes, kraft paper, plastics, polyurethanes, polystyrenes, ethafoams, and other foam products. Our design department utilizes the best substrates for the custom job, including ESD boards, chipboard, military boards, as well as foam core and corrugated fiberboard. We supply packaging equipment, strapping, tapes, peanuts, stretch films and shrink films. When it comes to packaging supplies, JRD assists our customers in design and full service supply. As our customer needs have changed, and our services have expanded, JRD has developed strong lines of supply to take care of office products, paper products, copy paper and staples, as well as accessories, such as pens, pencils, office equipment and furniture. We maintain an inventory of Janitorial and sanitation Products, and can supply your organization with safety equipment, including ear plugs, safety glasses, and all sorts of gloves, nitrile, invisible, and safety. Why rely on a Janitorial supplier, a office product supplier, a safety products supplier, and a packaging supplier when you can receive all this product competitively from one source. Staples, staplers, tools and accessories are but one product line our organization has supplied. Check out our operation in meeting you companies requirements in Stretch Packaging or machines. Company History
JRD Packaging & Industrial Supply distributes various corrugated shipping cartons, packaging materials, safety and janitorial products, staples, tools and hardware in accordance with our customers' specific needs.
The company began as White Container Company, a division of MannEdge Tool. In 2004, Juniata River Development Company, LLC acquired the assets of White Container Company, and is now doing business as JRD Packaging & Industrial Supply. Its establishment and growth is attributed to a dedicated work force and a strong commitment to quality and service. Since 2004, our continued commitment to provide competitive pricing and service to our customers has supported JRD Packaging & Industrial Supply's substantial growth. In 2007, Juniata River Development Company, L.L.C, purchased an additional 131,000 square foot facility in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. This will allow JRD Packaging to expand and grow by effectively increasing its distribution capabilities throughout the South Central Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware regions. Our two distribution centers, in Lewistown and Mount Joy, Pennsylvania now service accounts throughout the United States. |
